TÜRKBESD White World October 2025

Dear Stakeholders,

The data for our sector's January–October 2025 period indicate that pressure on exports in foreign markets is continuing, while demand in the domestic market is showing a volatile trend.

Cumulative data for January–October points to a decline of 5% in domestic sales, 9% in exports, and 9% in production compared to the same period last year. The total sales volume was recorded as 25.5 million units, marking an 8% decrease. This picture reveals that the simultaneous contraction in both domestic and foreign demand continues to exert significant pressure across the sector.

Although a limited 8% increase was observed in the domestic market in October, exports simultaneously decreased by 15% in the same month; production fell by 9%, and total sales showed a 9% decline. Considering this scenario, it is understood that the limited upward movement in the domestic market is not on a scale that can change the sector's overall outlook.

Maintaining the sector's production and export capability is of strategic importance for our country's competitiveness and employment. Therefore, it is critically important that input costs progress in a balanced structure and that additional burdens that would weaken competitiveness in foreign markets are avoided.

As TÜRKBESD, our priority is to continue providing added value to our country through innovative approaches, increased efficiency, and a strong export perspective. We will continue to work with all our stakeholders to ensure the healthy and sustainable progress of our sector.

Sincerely,
Alper Şengül
Chairman
